Very cleverly written! An entertaining read but depth to it, also.
A fun science fiction story with some creative futuristic technology that makes you realize that perhaps someday these crazy ideas might really exist.
Great book. Full of subtle satire as well as not so subtle. Fun read in many ways.
Irreverent, lighthearted and ridiculous take on assassins, health care, the future, dismemberment and too many subjects to list out. Actually had me chortling to myself and sometimes in public while on transit. Also super gory but in a fun, over the top homage to/satire on 80s Commando-type movies. Recommended and you'll probably devour this in a few days like I did. Enjoy!
This is a fun book. It is an easy read with some pretty descriptive action scenes. It plays out like an action movie with comedic moments sprinkled all over the place. They were well timed and didn't seem out of place. I had a good time reading it and am looking forward to the continuation in the series.
Both my husband & I thoroughly enjoyed reading this action comedy. It was easy reading and kept your interest peaked to go on to the next page. It was action packed and humorous at the same time. We are anxiously waiting for Tom Reeve to write a sequel.
Funny, weirdly entertaining as it slams the health insurance industry while giving a look at what it's like to be an unemployed assassin. You might enjoy this if you like martial arts, futuristic stories with a sense of humor.
